Summary: Helpful staff when I called late to say we would be late for checkin they sorted a safe key for us (be aware checkin is not 24 hours) they also stored our bags for us while we went to explore after checkout. The room is okay, the bed is a bit old and springy, not especially comfy and we only had one towel instead of two. The included breakfast comes to your room and is okay, nothing exceptional but it was fine and nice to have it served in the room. The property feels like it needs some work, it's a little ugly and the toilet was leaking, that bathroom was outdated with a bathtub and shower curtain which made it feel very cramped. The mini fridge did not work and the fan supplied was very loud (but better than no fan at all!) If you like to sleep with window open it would be pretty loud as a location. But close to the Lake and close to bus/train stations which was convenient. Certainly nothing special or luxurious but more in the cheap and chearful category. I wouldn't recommend staying for more than a night or two.
